Rafe thought sixth grade was the worst year of his life. But with seventh grade just beginning, he's about to experience the worst of the worst! His mother loses her job and the family has to move. Now Rafe is enrolled in a middle school in a big city where, as he says, students like him inevitably end up getting beaten up! Fortunately, thanks to his former English teacher, Rafe is accepted into an art school at the last minute. But it's far from paradise! Competition between students is fierce, and Rafe's classmates are either snobs or real bullies. To keep going, he sets himself a new challenge: Operation Live Your Life. To choose the most interesting life possible, Rafe will be able to try all the experiences he hasn't had so far... even the worst ones. Did you think it couldn't get any worse than sixth grade? Worse than the worst? You were wrong! My mother lost her job, so we had to move in with my grandmother. By some miracle, I was accepted into a renowned art school. Don't imagine it's paradise: all the other students are either spoiled snobs or real bullies, not to mention the homework, the competition, the shame... To keep going, I had no choice but to set myself a new challenge: Operation Live Your Life. I wanted to have a super interesting life, to start all over again. So I started doing all the things I'd never done before.
